Abstract(s)
O objetivo principal desta investigação é conhecer as semelhanças, as diferenças e
caso a RTP Porto.
The main objective of this investigation is to know the similarities, differences and functions of image reporters and cameramen, using as case study RTP at Oporto, Portugal. The workers answered an inquire about the referred questions and four of those professionals (two reporters and two cameramen) made an interview about (among other subjects) his daily activity. The observed similarities referred to use of the same audiovisual grammar language, since that the way of working the image (camera usage, plans, movements and what to capture) is the same on both professions. The main differences are related to the kind of work that each one do: the reporter works alone to do news reportages or lives; the cameraman performs his tasks, normally in a team (but its necessary to make a reservation because some cameramen works in EFP (mobile video) doing reportages or lives to production) with the objective of execute multicamera programs, conducted by a television director.
