O processo de inclusão de alunos com deficiência no mercado de trabalho em Araguaína - TO: percepção de empregadores, de docentes do ensino superior e técnicos administrativos da Universidade Federal do Norte do Tocantins

Atualmente um dos grandes desafios para a universidade é a inclusão dos alunos com deficiência e sua transição para o mercado de trabalho, sendo que a modalidade de estágio se constitui como meio prático para conduzir esse processo. Nesse sentido, a participação ativa dos docentes e técnicos administrativos da instituição e a sua articulação com os empregadores tendo em vista o sucesso da inclusão dos alunos é fundamental.
Sendo assim, este estudo descritivo tem como objetivo geral, conhecer as percepções e práticas dos Professores, dos Técnicos Administrativos da UFNT e dos Empregadores da cidade de Araguaína- Tocantins, no que se refere à inclusão dos alunos com deficiência no mercado de trabalho por meio de estágio não obrigatório. Participaram um total de 17 pessoas, às quais foi aplicado um questionário para coleta de dados. Os resultados encontrados demonstram que, de maneira geral, os Professores, Técnicos e Empregadores revelam percepções favoráveis à inclusão dos alunos com deficiência no mercado de trabalho por meio de estágio não obrigatório, porém, observam-se práticas que são verdadeiras barreiras face a inclusão desses alunos.
De acordo com a percepção dos participantes, no que diz respeito às práticas que podem ser barreiras para inclusão dos alunos com deficiência no mercado de trabalho foram identificadas, entre outras, a baixa formação dos responsáveis pela contratação de estagiários com determinadas problemáticas, o pouco interesse dos profissionais de educação em acompanhar o processo de estágio não obrigatório e a ausência de uma política de interação entre a universidade e as empresas.
Por fim, constata-se que o processo de transição de alunos com deficiência para o trabalho, nesse cenário é viável, desde que os intervenientes nesse processo trabalhem juntos para alcançar o sucesso para todos e cada um dos alunos.
Currently one of the great challenges for the university is the inclusion of students with disabilities and their transition to the labor market, and the internship is a practical means to conduct this process. In this sense, the active participation of teachers andadministrative technicians of the institution and their articulation with employers aiming the success of including students is fundamental. Thus, this descriptive study has as its general objective, to know the perceptions and practices of Teachers, Administrative Technicians of UFNT and Employers of the city of Araguaína- Tocantins, with regard to the inclusion of students with disabilities in the labor market through a non-mandatory internship. A total of 17 people participated, to whom a questionnaire for data collection was applied. The results found show that, in general, Teachers, Technicians and Employers reveal perceptions which are favorable to the inclusion of students with disabilities in the labor market through non-mandatory internship; however, there are practices that are true barriers to the inclusion of these students. According to the perception of the participants, with regard to the practices that create barriers to the inclusion of students with disabilities in the labor market, among others, the low training of those responsible for hiring trainees with certain problems, the little interest of education professionals in following the non-mandatory internship process and the absence of a policy of interaction between the university and companies were identified. Finally, it was observed that the process of transition of students with disabilities to work in this scenario is feasible as long as the actors in this process work together to achieve success for each and every student.
