Abstract(s)
Orientado para a temática do “habitar” e das representações sociais que se integram no espaço da casa, o presente trabalho de investigação é resultado de uma análise realizada em torno das tipologias de habitação implementadas em Portugal Continental nos últimos dez anos (2002-2012).
Registando traços gerais que caracterizam as formas da casa em Portugal e intuindo fazer uma atualização dos conceitos de Espaço Íntimo e Espaço Social da casa em Portugal, na primeira década do século XXI, analisam-se diferentes tipologias habitacionais considerando seus modos de implantação e de composição morfológica. Daqui, o debate é impulsionado através da dialética existente entre o exterior e o interior da habitação, portanto, mediante a essência das zonas públicas e privadas do espaço doméstico (ou zonas sociais - ZS - e zonas íntimas - ZI). No respetivo âmbito, o termo “afastamento” demonstra ser preponderante para uma melhor compreensão das necessidades da sociedade portuguesa (nos domínios do espaço habitacional).
Within the Housing scope and its social representations, this research work is result of an analysis carried around the housing types implemented in Portugal in the last ten years (2002-2012) . By registering general dashes that are able to characterize actual housing forms at Portugal - and by intuiting an upgrade of the social space and private space concepts at the portuguese home in the first decade of this century - we have analyzed different housing types considering its implantation modes and morphological composition. Hence, the debate is driven over the existent dialectic between the inner and out space of the house - therefore, upon the essence of public and private areas existent in the domestic realm (or social areas - ZS - and intimate areas - ZI). At the scope, the term “distance” appears as a meaningful variable, more accurately, it allows the measurement of the social needs regarding the contemporary housing issues.
