| dc.description.abstract | Objetivo: Avaliar a prevalência de sintomas músculo-esqueléticos nos Fisioterapeutas em Portugal, assim como, tentar perceber quais os fatores, individuais e no contexto de trabalho, que se relacionam com os mesmos. Metodologia: A amostra utilizada neste estudo foi constituída por 300 Fisioterapeutas a exercer a profissão em Portugal (n=300). Todos os elementos preencheram um inquérito individual, de forma a obter informações acerca das suas características individuais e de trabalho, e o questionário Nórdico Músculo-Esquelético. Resultados: Apurou-se que, no geral, os Fisioterapeutas apresentam maiores queixas de dor nas regiões: lombar, pescoço, torácica, joelhos, ombros e punho/mãos. Dividindo por áreas de trabalho, a área Cardiorrespiratória foi a que obteve maior média de dor, registada na região do pescoço, seguida das áreas de Geriatria e Pediatria com dor na lombar. Relacionando a dor com a área de trabalho, só em algumas áreas se verificaram relações significativas. Conclusão: Concluímos assim, que os Fisioterapeutas estão propensos à sintomatologia músculo-esquelética, principalmente na região lombar, sendo a área de trabalho, os anos de trabalho, e as horas semanais fatores predisponentes para sintomas. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Objective: To evaluate the prevalence of musculoskeletal symptoms in Physiotherapists in Portugal, as well as to try to understand which factors, personal and in the work context, relate with them. Methodology: The sample used in this study consisted of 300 physiotherapists working in Portugal (n = 300). All of them completed an individual survey, in order to obtain information about their individual and working characteristics, and the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire. Results: It was found that, in general, physiotherapists present greater complaints of pain in the lumbar, neck, thoracic, knee, shoulder and wrist / hand regions. Dividing by areas of work, the Cardiorespiratory area was the one that obtained the highest mean of pain recorded in the neck region, followed by the areas of Geriatrics and Pediatrics with pain in the lower back. Relating pain to the work area, only in some areas occurred significant relationships. Conclusion: We conclude that physiotherapists are keen to musculoskeletal symptoms, especially in the lower back, and the work area, years of work and working week hours are a predisposing factor for symptoms. | pt_PT |
