Abstract(s)
O absentismo escolar é uma problemática muito complexa e que advém de diversos fatores individuais, sociais, escolares e familiares. Apesar destes fatores serem importantes para perceber a evolução e o impacto deste fenómeno, a pesquisa deste projeto incidiu nos fatores familiares, mais concretamente nas práticas educativas parentais. Em suma, pretende-se compreender que atitudes e ações apresentadas pelos encarregados de educação ou representantes legais têm efeitos negativos nas atitudes, comportamentos e ações que os respetivos menores têm na escola e de que maneira afeta o seu desempenho escolar e posteriormente desenvolvimento profissional.
Deste modo, o projeto está estruturado em duas partes. A primeira diz respeito ao enquadramento teórico fundamentado a partir de uma pesquisa bibliográfica acerca do absentismo escolar e da relação existente entre o mesmo e as práticas educativas parentais. A segunda parte é dedicada ao enquadramento empírico, que consiste na idealização de um estudo que tem como objetivo estudar as crianças/jovens que têm processos abertos nos tribunais devido ao absentismo escolar e perceber quais as práticas educativas parentais utilizadas pelos encarregados de educação ou representantes legais e de que formas as mesmas influenciam o percurso escolar dos menores.
The scholar absenteeism is a very complex problem and that comes from several factors: individuals, social, scholar and familiar. Although the importance of these factors is essential for noticing the evolution and the impact of this phenomenon, this project focused on the familiar factors, more specifically on parenting educational practices. In short, it's intended to understand if the attitudes and activities submitted by the sponsor of education or legal representative have negatives effects on attitudes, behaviors, and actions that their minor have in school and how it affects his school performance and later professional development. With this in mind, this project is structured in two parts: - The first is about the theoretical framework based on bibliographic research about scholar absenteeism and the relationship between the same and the parenting educational practices. -The second part is dedicated to the empirical framework, that consists of the idealization oh the study which objectives are: study the children/youth that have an open process on the court due to scholar absenteeism and understood which parenting educational practices used by the sponsor of education or legal representative and how they influence the scholar route of minors.
