Esta pesquisa foi realizada na Escola Estadual de Ensino Médio Benedito Corrêa de Souza, localizada na cidade de Itaituba, Sudoeste do Estado do Pará/Brasil, a qual objetivou averiguar de que forma a Gestão Escolar tem contribuído com a incorporação e a operacionalização das TIC na rede pública do Ensino Médio no município de Itaituba, de forma que alunos e professores tenham acesso a essas tecnologias de maneira efetiva e eficaz. Trilhou-se um duplo caminho no decorrer da pesquisa, sendo que o primeiro foi a consulta bibliográfica abordando a temática As Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC) na Rede Pública - estudo de caso no município de Itaituba, Sudoeste do Pará, Brasil. Utilizou-se uma análise qualitativa e quantitativa, levando à reflexão sobre as diferentes percepções dos entrevistados. Para tanto foi realizada pesquisa básica de natureza qualitativa e quantitativa tendo como critério ou classificação uma base exploratória e descritiva. Constatou-se durante a pesquisa que de maneira geral, foi imprescindível investigar vários requisitos necessários à incorporação da informática que esbarram ainda numa forte tradição prática, mesmo na escola que já possui recursos computacionais/tecnológicos. Para fim de coleta de dados, foi aplicado entrevistas aos professores e equipe gestora e pedagógica da escola envolvida na pesquisa. Os dados foram analisados e tabulados para elaborar um levantamento detalhado das ações. Nessa perspectiva a pesquisa assinala para a necessidade de maiores discussões sobre a demanda de políticas públicas que priorizem a inserção das novas tecnologias na prática educativa e formação docente.
This research was carried out at the Benedito Corrêa de Souza State High School, located in the city of Itaituba, Southwest of the State of Pará / Brazil, which aimed to investigate how School Management has contributed to the incorporation and operationalization of ICT in public network of the High School in the municipality of Itaituba, so that students and teachers have access to these technologies in an effective and effective way. A double path was taken during the course of the research, the first being the bibliographic consultation addressing the topic Information and Communication Technologies (TIC) in the Public Network - a case study in the municipality of Itaituba, Sudoeste do Pará, Brazil. A qualitative and quantitative analysis was used, leading to reflection on the different perceptions of the interviewees. For this purpose, basic research of a qualitative and quantitative nature was carried out, having as criterion or classification an exploratory, descriptive and explanatory basis. It was found during the research that, in general, it was essential to investigate several requirements necessary for the incorporation of informatics that still run into a strong practical tradition, even in the school that already has computational / technological resources. In order to collect data, interviews were applied to the teachers and management and pedagogical team of the school involved in the research. The data were analyzed and tabulated to elaborate a detailed survey of the actions. From this perspective the research points to the need for greater discussions on the demand of public policies that prioritize the insertion of new technologies in the educational practice and teacher training.
