Abstract(s)
A presente pesquisa tem como foco a percepção dos docentes sobre seus líderes
educacionais em uma escola da rede particular e uma da rede pública de Brasília
(Distrito Federal, Brasil), suas necessidades e expectativas, no intuito de identificar
aspectos motivacionais em sua prática. A motivação é o elemento fundamental que
determina o comportamento dos indivíduos, envolvendo necessidades, impulsos,
desejos, interesses, propósitos, atitudes e aspirações. Por meio de uma pesquisa de
campo foi realizado um questionário para a coleta de dados em Instituições do Distrito
Federal, buscando identificar as percepções dos docentes destas instituições sobre seus
líderes educacionais. No decorrer da pesquisa, fez-se necessário evidenciar a
motivação do docente tanto em uma instituição da rede privada quanto em uma
instituição da rede pública de Brasília, com vistas a identificar os fatores e influências
que interferem na prática docente em dois modelos de gestão distintos, visando
possíveis mudanças da ação pedagógica de professores. Nesta pesquisa, verificou-se a
importância da motivação e como a gestão destas instituições, apesar de distintas, num
todo, promovem atividades para motivar o educador em sua prática diária.
The present research focuses on the perception of teachers about their educational leaders in a private school and a public school both in Brasília (Federal District, Brazil), on their needs and expectations, with the intent on identifying motivational aspects in their practices. Motivation is a key element which determines individual behavior, taking into account personal needs, impulses, desires, interests, purposes, attitudes, and aspirations. By means of a field research, a questionnaire was used to gather data at the chosen institutions aiming at identifying the perceptions of its teachers about their educational leaders. During this research, it became relevant to highlight the teachers’ motivation both in a private institution and in a public institution of Brasília in order to identify the factors and influences that interfere with educational practices in two different management models, aiming at possible changes in pedagogical approaches. With this research, the importance of motivation was verified, and it was made clear that the over-all management model in both the institutions, in spite of their differences, promote activities that motivate teachers in their daily practice.
