Abstract(s)
O presente estudo visa avaliar a relação entre a prática de videojogos e agressividade em
adultos. Deste modo, foi analisada uma amostra de 225 participantes adultos com uma média
de idades de 26.50 (DP = 7.76). Para a realização desta investigação, foi utilizado o AQ
(Agression Questionnaire) e um questionário sobre os hábitos de consumo de videojogos. No
que concerne aos resultados, obteve-se que os indivíduos que jogaram videojogos obtiveram
maior nível de agressividade verbal, ao invés dos que não jogaram. Os indivíduos com
alterações a nível da rotina familiar e trabalho, apresentaram maiores níveis de agressividade
física e verbal, respetivamente, daqueles que não apresentaram alterações. Para concluir, o
consumo de videojogos apresenta um impacto significativo no que concerne ao comportamento
dos indivíduos, sendo que os mesmos caracterizam o jogar videojogos como uma abstração
dos seus problemas diários.

The results show that individuals who have played video games obtained a higher level of verbal aggressiveness rather than those who havent played. Individuals with changes in family and work routines present higher levels of physical and verbal aggressiveness in comparison to those who haven’t report any changes. In conclusion, the consumption of video games has a significant impact on individual’s behavior and they characterize playing video games as an abstraction of their daily problems.
