Abstract(s)
Analisa-se o Programa Escola em tempo integral programa federal desenvolvido em nível de secretaria de educação estadual denominado Mais Educação, integrante do Plano de Desenvolvimento da Educação divulgado à sociedade brasileira desde 2007. Aborda-se a oferta de educação integral em uma escola de ensino médio da rede estadual de ensino no município de São Luís-Maranhão Brasil. Para alcançarem-se os objetivos propostos, realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica, que se respaldou nas considerações sobre os caminhos da educação integral no Brasil, do início do século XX aos dias atuais, além de uma pesquisa documental, que possibilitou perceber-se o desenvolvimento do ordenamento jurídico que contempla a educação integral possibilitando uma concepção de gestão de educação integral do Programa Mais Educação em uma escola básica. Utilizou-se os pressupostos da pesquisa qualitativa com ênfase num estudo de um caso específico que foi a escola em tempo integral e para tanto utilizou-se a observação direta e a aplicação de inquéritos por questionários para alcançar-se os objetivos propostos. Constatou-se que o Programa prevê a oferta de educação integral em jornada ampliada, por meio da gestão de atividades letivas no turno principal e socioeducativas no contra turno, bem como a receptividade da comunidade do entorno escolar e do quadro docente que nem sempre recepciona esse modelo educativo como sendo o ideal.
The program is a full-time federal program developed at the level of a state education secretariat called More Education, a member of the Education Development Plan that has been disseminated to Brazilian society since 2007. It addresses the offer of integral education in a school of education of the state education network in the city of São Luís-Maranhão, Brazil. In order to reach the proposed objectives, a bibliographical research was carried out, which supported the considerations on the paths of integral education in Brazil, from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day, as well as a documentary research, which made it possible to perceive the development of the legal system that contemplates the integral education allowing a conception of management of integral education of the More Education Program in a basic school. The assumptions of the qualitative research were used, with emphasis on a study of a specific case that was the full-time school and for that purpose direct observation and the application of surveys by questionnaires were used to reach the proposed objectives. It was verified that the Program provides for the provision of integral education in an extended working day, through the management of activities in the main shift and socio-educational in the counter shift, as well as the receptivity of the community in the school environment and the teaching staff that does not always receive this educational model as being the ideal.
