Abstract(s)
O parque habitacional edificado é, no momento atual, um dos elementos que contribui fortemente para a degradação do ambiente.
Atualmente, para o nível de conforto ambiental considerado satisfatório, o nível de eficiência dos edifícios de habitação é insustentável, provocado pelo elevado consumo de recursos naturais.
Torna-se portanto necessário conhecer quais os problemas concretos do parque habitacional edificado português, por forma a se poder contribuir para a sua resolução.
Assim, partindo do conhecimento dos principais problemas energéticos dos edifícios de habitação bem como as suas causas, pode-se adaptar o processo de reabilitação tradicional ao conceito de reabilitação energética sustentável, por forma a tornar os edifícios reabilitados mais eficientes energeticamente, consumindo menor quantidade de recursos naturais.
A presente dissertação pretende contribuir para a reabilitação energética de edifícios de habitação de forma sustentável, apresentado diversos fatores importantes a ter em consideração no processo de reabilitação para se obter uma maior eficiência energética dos edifícios.
The existing housing stock is, at the moment, one of the major elements responsible for the environmental degradation. Nowadays, due to the drain of natural resources, the efficiency levels of housing buildings is unsustainable, so that the levels of environmental comfort can be considered as satisfactory. It thus becomes necessary to discover which exact problems the existing housing stocks have, so that one may be able to contribute to their resolution. Therefore, if one possesses the knowledge of the main issues regarding the housing buildings’ energy efficiency and their origin, one may be able to adapt the traditional rehabilitation process to the concept of sustainable energy rehabilitation; consequently, it would be possible the existence of high-efficiency energy rehabilitated buildings, with a lower consumption of natural resources. This thesis aims to the contribution of the housing buildings’ sustainable energy rehabilitation, given the most important factors to be accounted for in the rehabilitation process, so that one may obtain a high-energy efficiency of the buildings.
