Abstract(s)
São inúmeros os processos de promoção e proteção presentes nas Comissões de Proteção de Crianças e Jovens (CPCJ) em que a principal problemática sinalizada diz respeito aos maus tratos exercidos contra as crianças e jovens em Portugal.
O presente projeto de graduação tem como objetivo propor um estudo sobres as principais dificuldades que a CPCJ de Gondomar encontra na resolução dos seus processos de promoção e proteção, quais as estratégias utilizadas pelas comissárias para reverter a situação com que se deparam e ainda as metodologias utilizadas pela Comissão. Para esse fim, pretendemos utilizar o método de focus group que consiste em entrevistas em grupo com as técnicas que constituem a Comissão Restrita da CPCJ de Gondomar.
Deste modo, espera-se que este estudo exploratório possa ajudar as comissárias a refletir criticamente sobre a eficácia das medidas mais utilizadas na problemática dos maus tratos e sobre a superação dos seus condicionalismos referentes à falta de reconhecimento da legitimidade da CPCJ, ao incumprimento dos acordos de promoção e proteção por parte dos progenitores/cuidadores e das crianças/jovens, assim como a falta de cooperação das ECMIJ para com a Comissão.
There are innumerable promotion and protection’s processes in the Comissão de Proteção de Crianças e Jovens (CPCJ) in which the major flagged problem concerns maltreatment towards children and teenagers in Portugal. This graduation project has the goal of proposing a study about, the main difficulties that Gondomar’s CPCJ finds in the resolution of its processes of promotion and protection, what are the strategies used by the commissioners to reverse the situation that they found and the methodologies used by the Commission. For this purpose, we intend to use the focus group method which consists in group interviews with the technicians that constitute the Restrictive Commission of Gondomar’s CPCJ. In this way, it is expected that this exploratory study can help the commissioners to reflect critically about the effectiveness of the most used measures on the abuse problematic and about the overcoming of its constraints referring to the lack of recognition on CPCJ’s legitimacy, on the default of the promotion and protection agreements by the parents/tutors and the children/teenagers, as the lack of cooperation of the ECMIJ towards the Commission.
