Abstract(s)
Esta pesquisa tem por finalidade realizar uma análise acerca de como a Escola Estadual Coelho Neto (EECN) utiliza a mediação escolar e as práticas restaurativas para gerir as situações conflituais e garantir a inclusão de alunos com Necessidades Educativas Especiais (NEE). A EECN possui um Núcleo de Práticas Restaurativas que dissemina a cultura da pacificação social no ambiente escolar e na comunidade em que está inserida. Assim, a problemática da pesquisa gira em torno de saber se a utilização da mediação escolar e das práticas restaurativas para a gestão construtiva dos conflitos envolvendo alunos com NEE ocorre de forma satisfatória, garantindo-lhes o direito à inclusão no ambiente escolar. A metodologia seguida foi a qualitativa, através de um estudo de caso com pesquisa de campo, tendo a observação direta extensiva como instrumento de coleta de dados, utilizando-se técnicas de observação e realização de entrevistas estruturadas. A aplicação das técnicas de pesquisa respeitou a dignidade, identidade, voluntariedade, autonomia e vulnerabilidade de todos os participantes, seguindo os padrões éticos exigidos pela Plataforma Brasil, à qual o projeto foi submetido e aprovado. Após a coleta de dados, realizou-se a análise de seu conteúdo e, por fim, a interpretação dos dados à luz das teorias existentes sobre o fenómeno em estudo.
This research aims to carry out an analysis about how the Coelho Neto State School (CNSS) uses school mediation and restorative practices to manage conflict situations and ensure the inclusion of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). CNSS has a Center for Restorative Practices that disseminates the culture of social pacification in the school environment and in the community in which it operates. Thus, the research problem revolves around whether the use of school mediation and restorative practices for the constructive management of conflicts involving students with SEN occurs satisfactorily, guaranteeing their right to inclusion in the school environment. The methodology followed was qualitative, through a case study with field research, using extensive direct observation as a data collection instrument, using observation techniques and structured interviews. The application of research techniques respected the dignity, identity, voluntariness, autonomy and vulnerability of all participants, following the ethical standards required by Plataforma Brasil, to which the project was submitted and approved. After data collection, the content was analyzed and, finally, the data was interpreted in the light of the existing theories about the phenomenon under study.
