Abstract(s)
Objetivo: Avaliar a eficácia do exercício terapêutico na habilidade motora, na função executiva e comportamentos estereotipados de crianças com Transtorno de Espectro de Autismo. Metodologia: Foi executada uma pesquisa computorizada de estudos randomizados controlados em junho de 2022 nas bases de dados PubMed, Science Direct, Google Scholar e PEDro, com recurso aos seguintes termos: autism, autism spectrum disorder, exercise, physical activity, training, motor skill, executive function, behavior, stereotyped behavior, autistic traits, stereotypic behavior e stereotypes. Posteriormente avaliou-se a qualidade metodológica dos artigos através da escala PEDro. Resultados: Foram selecionados cinco estudos com intervenções que se enquadram na definição de exercício terapêutico, analisando os efeitos do mesmo na habilidade motora, na função executiva e no comportamento estereotipado, em crianças com idades compreendidas entre os 6 e 15 anos. Conclusão: O exercício terapêutico melhorou a habilidade motora, função executiva e comportamentos estereotipados.

Results: Five studies, analyzing the effect of therapeutic exercise on motor skill, executive function and stereotyped behavior were included in the analysis, with children aged between 6 and 15 years old. Conclusion: Therapeutic exercise improved motor skills, executive function and stereotyped behavior.
