O tema do racismo tem sido, cada vez mais, discutido. Ainda que, atualmente, esteja previsto como crime, a sua natureza é constantemente questionada. A sua irreparável e antiga história reflete ainda as suas consequências no quotidiano. É uma realidade mundial e, por isso, é também responsabilidade de todos a combater.
Este projeto aborda o racismo, tendo por base alguns modelos teóricos, e pretende alertar para esta problemática no contexto universitário. Assente em pressupostos qualitativos, prevê-se uma intervenção junto de estudantes do ensino superior, do mesmo curso, porém diferentes anos e ciclos, através do focus group. O propósito será refletir, informar, alertar e prevenir para esta problemática, a fim das atuais e futuras gerações evitarem cometer os erros do passado.
The issue of racism has been increasingly discussed. Although it is currently envisaged as a crime, its nature is constantly being questioned. Its irreparable and ancient history still reflects its consequences in everyday life. It is a global reality and, therefore, it is also everyone's responsibility to fight it. This project addresses racism, based on some theoretical models, and aims to raise awareness of this problem within universities. Based on qualitative assumptions, an intervention is foreseen with higher education students, from the same course, but different years and cycles, through the focus group. The purpose will be to reflect, inform, alert and prevent this problem, in order for current and future generations to avoid making the mistakes of the past.
