Neste trabalho pretende-se analisar as mudanças ocorridas na gestão de uma Instituição de Ensino Superior Particular no Brasil no contexto da revolução tecnológica, ou quarta revolução industrial, dentro do mercado educacional brasileiro. O Governo Federal do Brasil determinou através de uma nova legislação que as Instituições de Nível Superior (IES – Instituições de Ensino Superior) se reestruturassem tecnologicamente, adequando a gestão dos seus processos internos no que diz respeito à inovação. Essa nova estrutura tecnológica gerará maior velocidade de resposta, melhorias na qualidade dos serviços prestados, segurança digital, cruzamento de dados da IES com os dados do Ministério da Educação (MEC) e facilitará também a tomada de decisão ao nível da gestão da Instituição de Ensino. A mudança no cenário educacional, além de provocar melhorias nos controles governamentais, tem impacto direto no desenvolvimento de processos internos da IES como captação de novos alunos, melhoria na comunicação com clientes / fornecedores, e de uma forma geral proporciona a melhoria na performance da gestão da Instituição de Ensino. É apresentado um caso de estudo de uma IES em particular e descrito como alguns dos sistemas e aplicações de tecnologias de informação e comunicação provocaram uma transformação digital em benefício da instituição, do seu funcionamento e dos alunos.
This work intends to analyze the changes that occurred in the management of a Private Higher Education Institution in Brazil in the context of the technological revolution, or fourth industrial revolution, within the Brazilian educational market. The Federal Government of Brazil determined through new legislation that Higher Education Institutions (HEI) should be technologically restructured, adapting the management of internal processes with an innovation perspective. This new technological structure will generate more speed, improvements in the quality of the services provided by the HEI, digital security, crossing of HEI data with the data of the Ministry of Education (MEC) and facilitate decision-making in the management of the Educational Institution. The change in the educational scenario, in addition to improvements in government controls, reflects the development of IES internal processes such as attracting new students, improving communication with customers / suppliers, and generally improving the institution's management performance. A case study of a particular IES institution is presented, along with a brief description of their novel systems and information and communication technologies. This allows the discussion of how such improvements impact the institution and provide digital transformation opportunities to the benefit of the institution but also its students.
