Abstract(s)
Conclusão: As diferentes
Parkinson's disease (PD) gait disorders in dual task have been associated with the appearance of early gait deficiency and severity of motor symptoms. Objective: To analyze several protocols about the dual task effects on gait performance in patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD). Methodology: The bibliographic research was done through the search engines: Pubmed, PEDro, Web of Knowledge and EBSCO to identify the effects of dual task interventions on gait of patients with PD. Results: Were included 5 randomized controlled trials, with an average rating of 5,8 on PEDro and a total of 227 participants. Three studies used dance, one study music and one study used other motor and cognitive tasks. Conclusion: The different interventions in dual task conditions (dance, music, motor and cognitive tasks) resulted in significant improvements in different components of gait performance including gait speed, stride time, cadence and stride length. Due to the heterogeneity of the studies, it is difficult to get a firm conclusion regarding the optimal intervention time or its long-term effects.
