A motivação é um dos temas de grande relevância na actualidade. As organizações necessitam entender os mecanismos que geram motivação e devem procurar meios eficazes de colocá-los em prática. A parceria entre empresa e colaboradores é imprescindível. A motivação e satisfação tem sido alvo de estudos e pesquisas de teóricos das mais variadas correntes ao longo do século XX. Saber o que motiva, o que satisfaz o trabalhador, é descobrir o procedimento a ser adoptado com relação a ele para que melhore seu desempenho profissional. A teoria das organizações com as mais variadas escolas, é um exemplo claro a busca por uma melhor inserção do homem na organização. A motivação e a satisfação são duas questões que assumem especial interesse para as organizações, uma vez que potenciam o desempenho dos seus colaboradores. O presente estudo tem por finalidade verificar a importância da utilização da variável motivação nas organizações, visando obter dos funcionários um melhor rendimento no desempenho de suas actividades e, além disso, buscar averiguar como diversos factores motivacionais estão sendo distribuídos em uma organização. A amostra em estudo foi constituida por 50 profissionais da Direcção dos Serviços Provincial do Instituto Nacional da criança na cidade de Benguela, aos quais foram distribuidos inquéritos em que se dadva conhecimento dos objectivos do estudo. Este trabalho foi desenvolvido na Direcção dos Serviços Provincial do Instituto Nacional da criança na cidade de Benguela, com o objectivo geral de diagnosticar o actual estado motivacional e a satisfação dos funcionários da mesma. Para confrontação das hipóteses foi utilizado como método de recolha de dados o questionário a uma amostra. A pesquisa utilizada para elaboração desde trabalho foi de carácter descritivo, que caracteriza-se pela observação, registo, análise, classificação e interpretação dos factos, sem que o pesquisador interfira neles.

The partnership between the company and employees is essential. The motivation and satisfaction and has been the subject of studies and research of theoretical currents of the most varied throughout the twentieth century. Knowing what motivates, which satisfies the worker is to find out the procedure to be adopted in relation to it to improve their professional performance. The theory of the organizations with the most varied schools is a clear example of the search for a better integration of man in the organization. The motivation and satisfaction are two issues that are of particular interest to organizations because that enhance the performance of its employees. This study aims to verify the importance of using the variable motivation in organizations to obtain better performance of employees in the performance of their activities and, in addition, seek to find out how many motivational factors are being distributed in an organization. The study sample consisted of 50 health professionals, which surveys in which they took knowledge of the objectives of the study were distributed. This work was developed in the Department of Child of the National Institute Provincial Services in Benguela, with the overall objective to diagnose the current motivational and satisfaction state employees the same. To compare the hypotheses was used for data collection method to a sample questionnaire. The survey used to prepare since work was exploratory and descriptive, which is characterized by observation, recording, analysis, classification and interpretation of the facts without the researcher interfere in them.
