Abstract(s)
O presente artigo pretende utilizar a investigação como uma
ferramenta aplicada aos Planos Diretores Municipais dos
municípios do Porto, de Matosinhos, da Maia, de Gondomar
e de Vila Nova de Gaia. Procura-se com esta análise verificar
de que forma os mesmos estão estruturados e como se
complementam no que toca ao ordenamento do território
e, consequentemente, à sua repercussão nas arquiteturas
que dele resultam. Para o desenvolvimento deste estudo
analisaram-se as categorias de solo constantes nos PDM de
cada um dos cinco municípios, por forma a se obterem os
valores das áreas para a Qualificação e Classificação do Solo.
O resultado desse estudo procurou compreender a dispersão
do Solo Urbano e do Solo Rural no território investigado,
assim como a distribuição das subcategorias nestas duas
tipologias de solo, esperando servir como contributo para
a compreensão das opções arquitetónicas de desenvolvimento
urbano na região.
This article aims to analyse the Municipal Territorial General Plans (PDM) of the municipalities of Porto, Matosinhos, Maia, Gondomar and Vila Nova de Gaia. The study seeks to verify their structure and how they complement each other concerning the spatial planning. For this study we looked to the soil categories featuring the General Urban Plan of each municipality. This task was achieved by measuring each part in order to obtain the area values for Soil Qualification and Classification. The results allowed us to understand the dispersion of Urban and Rural Soil throughout the territory. At the same time, the quantitative values helped to establish a comparison between the five municipalities.
