Abstract(s)
Objective: The present review intends to determine the effectiveness of Physical Activity in the treatment of patients with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Methods: A literature review was conducted from September to October 2016 in the Pubmed / Medline, Scielo, Lilacs and PEDro databases to identify randomized controlled trials evaluating the effects of physical exercise on CF treatment. Results Five articles were included, with a total of 159 patients, published between 2010 and 2016. Obtaining an arithmetic average of 7 on the PEDro scale. All articles are about physical activity, two of which relate to manual techniques and one using a game console. Conclusion: The scientific evidence found in this review suggests that the intervention of physical therapy based on the practice of physical exercise is extremely important in the treatment of CF. Further research on physical activity associated with physical therapy are recommended.
