Abstract(s)
No
The research work aimed at understanding how the process of teaching and learning in Youth and Adult Education in Primary and Secondary Education works and its relation to the social world. The research took place at the Julia Gonçalves Passarinho Basic Education State School, at the Gonçalves Dias State Elementary School and at Princess Izabel Municipal Elementary School. It was carried out with 120 students of EJA in 3rd and 4th Primary Education Stages and 1st and 2nd High School Stages; 32 teachers with a qualitative and quantitative approach, using the method of analysis to relate the theory and practice of the actions developed in the school context of the categories studied. Through the information provided here, it was found that the teaching and learning of the students EJA holds certain degree of difficulty, because they were absent from school activities for some time, or because they need to work to support their families. For some women, their children are reasons for school dropouts or failure in the education of adults’ .Tiring routine. But the need to get a profession to enter the labor market, leads to the return to school, requiring encouragement from teachers, so that these students come to complete all stages of adult education. The analysis showed that the practice of teachers should be more objective, since the difficulties faced by many students are many and reflect negatively on the personal life of each student.
