O nível de formação académica é um pressuposto cada vez mais interveniente na gestão
e ascensão dos trabalhadores dentro de uma empresa. Considerando a importância do
nível de formação académica na ascensão dos trabalhadores, está dissertação de
mestrado procurou analisar a relação existente entre o nível de formação académica e a
ascensão (profissional), tendo como base um estudo de caso realizado na empresa
Lobitex; Assim traçaram-se como objectivos: relacionar e verificar o nível de formação
académica do trabalhador com a sua ascensão na empresa Lobitex do município de
Benguela. Com a revisão da literatura foi possível analisar as principais contribuições
sobre o objecto de estudo do trabalho. Quanto a metodologia, os métodos utilizados
basearam-se na pesquisa bibliográfica e em dois inquéritos por questionários realizados
juntos dos trabalhadores da empresa Lobitex. Os resultados obtidos com a pesquisa
bibliográfica revelam a existência de uma tendência por parte das empresas em contratar
e fazer crescer profissionalmente (ascender) apenas aqueles funcionários que possuem e
apostam seriamente na sua formação acadêmica, considerando também a ascensão dos
trabalhadores um factor motivacional de sucesso empresarial. Já na pesquisa de campo
os resultados apontam que mais de 50% dos inquiridos reconhece a importância da
formação académica na ascensão dos trabalhadores e que o sonho de buscar melhores
posições no mercado de trabalho e ascender profissionalmente deve ser acompanhado
também, de um aumento no nível de formação acadêmica. Quanto a conclusão do
estudo se observa que no processo de ascensão profissional se atribui maior preferência
aos funcionários com um nível de formação académica elevado, pelo que é preocupação
actual das empresas diante da competição que se assiste no mercado de emprego, a
formação e capacitação dos seus trabalhadores, existindo, tal como sustentado na
análise bibliográfica do estudo, uma relação directa entre o nível de formação
acadêmica e a ascensão dos trabalhadores nas empresas.

As the conclusion of the study it is observed that in the professional growth process gives greater preference to employees with a high level of academic training, so it is current concern in the face of competition from companies that assist in the employment market, education and training of its employees, existing as sustained analysis of the literature study, a direct relationship between the level of academic education and the rise of workers in companies.
