Como el aire de abril, la novela detectivesca de Arturo Echavarría, recurre a la intertextualidad
para urdir un rompecabezas literario que aguarda a ser resuelto. Además de
seguirle las pistas al crimen central de la trama, el lector es retado a descubrir -a modo
de detective literario- que la novela esconde a su vez otra novela en diálogo con Dante,
Neruda, Borges, Cristóbal Colón, la cábala y varios autores puertorriqueños, entre otros. Como el aire de abril, Arturo Echavarría detective novel, turns to intertextuality in order
to devise a literary puzzle that waits to be solved. Besides tracking the clues of the plo
central crime, the reader is challenged to discover -like a literary detective would- that
the novel hides another novel in dialogue with Dante, Neruda, Borges, Christopher Columbus,
the kabala and several Puerto Rican authors, among others.
