À gravidez associam-se grandes transformações físicas, psicológicas e sociais. É um período repleto de sentimentos ambíguos, dúvidas e receios, que determinam os factores para a maternidade.
A metodologia utilizada para a realização deste estudo foi uma revisão sistemática da literatura, para tal foram utilizados sete artigos para fundamentação da discussão acerca dos sentimentos vivenciados durante o trabalho de parto pelos pais.
O enfermeiro é o profissional de referência para a prestação de cuidado durante este processo que é a gravidez, no qual transmite informação, confiança, autonomia e poder para a tomada de decisão, capacitando o casal para o parto e maternidade.
O conhecimento das expectativas em relação ao parto permitirá encontrar estratégias de intervenção com o objetivo de ajudar as mulheres a lidar com tudo o que as envolve. Por outro lado, permitirá contribuir para a melhoria da qualidade dos cuidados no acompanhamento das grávidas, tanto por parte dos profissionais de saúde como pelo próprio parceiro ou pessoa significativa, durante o trabalho de parto e parto. E consequentemente, a melhoria dos cuidados e do acompanhamento, contribuirá, certamente, para uma experiência de parto mais positivas.
Importa salientar que toda a vivencia durante o trabalho de parto é influenciada por diversos factores tais como a presença do pai ou pessoa significativa neste momento ou a preparação que a grávida recebe, acercar de todo este processo, ao longo do período gravítico.
Pregnancy is associated with major physical, psychological and social changes. It is a period full of ambiguous feelings, doubts and fears that determine the factors for motherhood. The methodology used to carry out this study was the systematic review of the literature, for which seven articles were used to support the discussion about the feelings experienced by the parents during labor. The nurse is the professional of reference to provide care during this process that is pregnancy, in which hetransmits information, confidence, autonomy and power for decision making, preparing the couple for childbirth and maternity. Knowledge of the expectations regarding childbirth will allow us to find intervention strategies to help women deal with everything it involves. On the other hand, it will help to improve the quality of care in the accompaniment of pregnant women, both by health professionals and by the partner or significant person, during labor and delivery. And consequently, the improved care accompaniment will certainly contribute to more positive delivery experiences. It is important to point out that the experience during labor is influenced by several factors such as the presence of the father or significant person at this time or the preparation that the pregnant woman receives, at the approach of this process throughout the gravitational period.
