Abstract(s)

Methodology: In this literature review, a search was carried out in Pubmed, Web of Science, PEDro databases and in the academic Google search engine, for the selection of randomized controlled studies that evaluated the effect of WBV on spasticity, motor function, strength and balance. in children with cerebral palsy. Results: After searching the literature in the research sources, a total of 419 articles were identified and, after the application of the inclusion and exclusion criteria and the full reading of the articles, 9 articles were selected that included 267 participants. Conclusion: After analyzing and discussing the results, the literature seems to suggest that the application of WBV, together with other Physiotherapy techniques, in children with cerebral palsy produces positive effects in terms of spasticity, muscle strength, balance and motor function.
