| dc.description.abstract | A reincidência criminal é um tema bastante importante e de grandes consequências para a sociedade, não só para as vítimas, mas também para o/a próprio ofensor(a), porém e apesar de tudo isto, Portugal revela-se com pouca investigação e ainda menos investimentos. Encontramos estabelecimentos prisionais sobrelotados e pouco se investe para tentar se perceber a que se deve esse facto, tanto quanto a reinserção social, é necessária uma maior intervenção. Neste sentido esta investigação tenta focar-se em alguns desses aspetos. Este projeto é dividido em duas partes, inicia-se com a pesquisa bibliográfica no qual é descrito as várias perspetivas do que é a reincidência criminal, assim como os seus fatores de risco e de proteção, passando depois por algumas das grandes teorias que têm influência nestes factos, assim como todo o meio envolvente do recluso. Na segunda parte encontra-se planificada uma investigação no qual, é desenvolvida uma comparação acerca dos indivíduos reincidentes, comparando principalmente o género e a idade, assim como os crimes mais associados e a violência praticada. A identificação precoce de alguns fatores de risco pode influenciar para uma intervenção prévia, assim como ajudar os reclusos a reinserirem-se na sociedade. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Criminal recidivism is a very important issue with big consequences for society, not only for the victims but also to the offender himself, but despite all this, Portugal reveals itself with slight investigation and even less investment. We found overcrowded prisons and the investment is so small to try to understand why it happens, in fact this also occurs with social reintegration, we need more intervention. In this sense, this investigation tries to focus on some of these aspects. This project is divided into two parts, it begins with the bibliographic research in which is presented the various perspectives of what criminal recidivism is, as well as the risks and protection factors are described, then going through some of the great theories that have influence these facts and then is described the environment of the prisoner. In the second part, an investigation is planned, in which a comparison is made about repeat offenders, comparing mainly gender and age, as well as the most associated crimes and the violence practiced. The early identification of some risk factors can influence a previous intervention, as well as help the prisoners to reintegrate into society. | pt_PT |
