Abstract(s)
O objetivo deste estudo de investigação foi tomar conhecimento da forma como estão a
ser implementados os Planos Individuais de Intervenção Precoce - PIIP, no quadro da
atual legislação e organização do Sistema Nacional de Intervenção Precoce na Infância
(SNIPI). Sendo o PIIP um documento que resulta da interação, colaboração e parceria
de famílias e profissionais, torna-se pertinente compreender o seu enquadramento como
forma de registo das práticas centradas na família. Assim, definimos objetivos de
investigação que permitissem compreender a utilização e a estrutura do PIIP e perceber
se este está direcionado para as famílias, para os técnicos, ou para ambos. A partir
destes objetivos, desenvolvemos um estudo que se enquadra num paradigma de
natureza qualitativa no campo da educação, no qual o investigador realizou a análise de
conteúdo de um documento específico – Plano Individual de Intervenção Precoce.
A primeira conclusão que obtemos deste estudo é que todas as informações sobre as
crianças, famílias, comunidade e os serviços devem constar nos PIIP’s registadas de
forma pormenorizada. Assim, pensamos que todos os PIIP’s devem estar organizados e
estruturados de forma clara para todos. Também achamos que a própria estrutura do
documento nos remete para práticas pedagógicas centradas na criança e não na família,
como é recomendado na filosofia atual.
A segunda conclusão, foi verificar que a intervenção precoce ainda está muito centrada
na criança e não na família.
A terceira conclusão, é que no PIIP o elemento mais representado é a Educadora de
Infância da ELI. O que nos leva a pensar que o documento em si está mais direcionado
para os técnicos da Educação.
A análise dos cinco PIIP’s não nos permitiu concluir se as famílias têm participação na
elaboração do documento, nem se o consultam e compreendem a sua utilidade nas
práticas centradas na família. Estes factos enfatizam a necessidade de todos os
profissionais da intervenção precoce na infância fazerem uma avaliação cuidada aos
documentos que recentemente foram criados pelo SNIPI, com o objetivo de ajustar ou
reformular os mesmos, para que todos os elementos envolvidos, possam registar da
melhor forma as práticas da IPI.
The objective of this research study was to take note of how they are being implemented the Individual Plans of Precocious Intervention in Infancy in the picture of the current legislation/organization of the SNIPI. Being the PIIP, a document that results of the interaction, contribution and partnership between families and professionals, becomes pertinent to better understand the framing of the practical ones centered in the family. Thus, they had been defined objective of inquiry that allowed to better understand the use and structure of the Individual Plan of Precocious Intervention and to perceive if it is directed for the families, the technician or both. From these objectives, a study was developed that if fits in a paradigm of qualitative nature in the field of the education where the investigator carried through the analysis of content of a specific document - Individual Plan of Precocious Intervention. The first conclusion that we get of this study is that all the information on the children, families, community and the services must consist in Wordling PIIP's of detailed form. Thus, we think that all PIIP's must be organized and structuralized of clear form for all. Also we find that the structure of the proper document (PIIP) send-in the ones for the practical ones centered in the child and not in the family as it is recomendade in the current legislation. The second conclusion we verify that the intervention is still very centered in the development of the child and not in the family. The third conclusion is that in the PIIP the more represented element is the Educator of Infancy of the ELI. What in it takes them to think that the document more is directed for the technician of the Education. The analysis of five PIIP's in did not allow them to conclude if the families haves a participation in the elaboration of the centered document nor if they consult it and they understand its utility in the practical ones in the family. These facts underscore the need for all the professionals of precocious intervention in infancy do a careful evaluation to documents that have recently been created by SNIPI, aiming to adjust or rephrase the same, so that all the elements involved, can register as best practices of IPI.
