O trabalho que se segue representa um estudo em torno do espaço dado a programas culturais pelas televisões generalistas portuguesas, através da análise das programações dos três canais temáticos RTP2, a TVI24 e a SICN. Ao longo de todo o trabalho percorresse temáticas fundamentais para se proceder à verificação dos resultados, como cultura, jornalismo, jornalismo cultural e televisão feita em português, temáticas estas que ao longo destas páginas serão amplamente aprofundadas. O presente estudo pretende assim explorar e questionar a prática das televisões generalistas portuguesas e, se possível, tirar conclusões em torno da questão chave por detrás de todo este trabalho.
The following work represents a study around the space given to cultural programs by the Portuguese generalist televisions, through the analysis of the programming of the three specialized channels RTP2, TVI24, and SICN. Throughout the work, fundamental themes are covered to verify the results, such as culture, journalism, cultural journalism, and television made in Portuguese, themes that will be widely studied throughout these pages. The present study thus intends to explore and question the practice of Portuguese generalist television stations and, if possible, draw conclusions around the key question behind all this work.
