Decorrente das transformações vividas nas organizações, despoletadas pela globalização e
pelas transformações socioeconómicas, surgiram os riscos emergentes no trabalho, onde se
destacam os riscos psicossociais.
Os fatores psicossociais no trabalho são definidos como os riscos para a saúde mental,
física e social, despoletados pelas condições de trabalho e pelos constrangimentos
organizacionais suscetíveis de interagir com o funcionamento mental.
Esta investigação teve como objetivo a identificação de riscos psicossociais numa empresa
do ramo industrial, a partir do pedido feito pela empresa através da equipa responsável pela
higiene e segurança no trabalho.
Participaram nesta investigação 116 trabalhadores da empresa, com idades compreendidas
entre os 22 e os 60 anos.
A identificação dos riscos psicossociais foi feita através do COPSOQ II, versão longa,
adaptada linguisticamente para a população portuguesa.
Os resultados obtidos permitiram apenas identificar algumas consequências da exposição
de riscos psicossociais, não nos dando a informação da origem daqueles problemas, nem de
como intervir de forma adequada tendo em conta todo o contexto organizacional.
Em investigações futuras para avaliar riscos psicossociais no trabalho será pertinente que
se faça uma abordagem mais compreensiva do que meramente explicativa, centrada nas
perspetivas do trabalhador, e na compreensão das caraterísticas e do contexto de trabalho,
fazendo uso de uma estatística aberta, de forma a compreender melhor para posteriormente se
intervir.
