Exposição da criança à violência interparental e o impacto nas relações de namoro dos adolescentes

A violência interparental é um fenómeno bastante presente na atualidade, que provoca um impacto negativo no desenvolvimento das crianças e adolescentes que a ela estão expostos, marcando-os permanentemente. O presente projeto de graduação tem como finalidade analisar este tipo de crime e o impacto causado pela exposição de crianças e jovens à violência, tal como os comportamentos que eles podem vir a desenvolver no futuro devido à vitimação. Será apresentada uma proposta de investigação sobre o impacto da exposição a comportamentos violentos entre os pais e a violência no namoro, que terá como amostra 300 alunos do ensino secundário em Portugal, selecionados de forma aleatória. Será disponibilizado aos alunos 2 questionários, um para analisar o sistema familiar dos participantes, de forma a verificar se este é caracterizado por violência, e o outro para detetar comportamentos violentos entre os adolescentes nas relações amorosas. Através desta investigação espera-se identificar comportamentos violentos nas famílias dos alunos, e detetar comportamentos abusivos nas suas relações de namoro, procedendo-se de seguida à comparação dos resultados de cada questionário de forma a evidenciar que a exposição de crianças e jovens à violência interparental é um preditor para a violência no namoro. Com a elaboração deste projeto de graduação, é pretendido demonstrar o impacto e as consequências que a exposição à violência interparental pode ter no desenvolvimento das crianças e adolescentes.
Interparental violence is a phenomenon extremely present nowadays, that provokes a negative impact in children and adolescents’ development, scarring them permanently. The present graduation project has the goal to analyse this type of crime and the impact it causes through the exposure of minors to violence, such as the behaviors they can develop in the future due to the victimization. It will be presented an investigation proposal about the impact of the exposure to violent behaviors between parents and dating violence, with a sample of 300 high school students in Portugal, selected randomly. It will be provided 2 questionnaires, one to analyse the participants family system, to verify if it’s characterized by violence, and the other to detect violent behaviors among adolescents in romantic relationships. It’s hoped to identify violent behaviors in students’ families, and detect abusive behaviours in their romantic relationships, and then proceeding to compare the results of each questionnaire to show that exposure to interparental violence is a predictor of dating violence. With the elaboration of this graduation project, its intended to demonstrate the impact and the consequences that the exposure to interparental violence can have in children and adolescents’ development.
