Abstract(s)
É notória a entrada frequente de processos judiciais de promoção e proteção de jovens problemáticos, com comportamentos abusivos e desafiadores, provenientes de famílias disfuncionais, sendo que, a intervenção dos serviços de promoção e proteção constituem uma oportunidade para a o jovem em que, conjugando intencionalmente vontades, esforços e meios, pode significar e contribuir para um percurso de vida diferente, afastando-os de possíveis condutas desviantes/delinquentes.
Em síntese, com o presente estudo, pretende-se compreender quais os fatores que se constituem como obstáculo para uma intervenção positiva da Equipa Multidisciplinar de Assessoria ao Tribunal (EMAT), atendendo às perceções e valorizações atribuídas pelos jovens face à mesma.
Deste modo, o Projeto de Graduação encontra-se estruturado em duas partes fundamentais: a primeira que é relativa à componente teórica, baseada numa pesquisa bibliográfica e onde é aprofundada a questão da adolescência, a EMAT e a intervenção em Processos de Promoção e Proteção (PPP). A segunda parte é dedicada à componente empírica, aqui se descreve toda a metodologia utilizada no estudo, designadamente o método, os objetivos, a amostra, os procedimentos, e bem como a discussão dos resultados. Este estudo cessa com uma conclusão acerca da temática assim como uma reflexão sobre a visão do papel do Criminólogo nesta área.
It is notorious the frequent entrance of judicial processes of promotion and protection of problematic young people, with abusive and challenging behaviors, from dysfunctional families, being that, the intervention of the promotion and protection services constitute an opportunity for young people on what, intentional conjugation of wills, efforts and means can mean and contribute to a different life course, pushing them away of possible deviant/delinquent conduct. In summary, with the present study, we intend to understand which the factors that constitute as an obstacle to positive intervention of Equipa Multidisciplinar de Assessoria ao Tribunal (EMAT), attending to the perceptions and valuations attributed by the young people against the same. Of this mode, the graduation project is structured in two fundamental parts: the first that is relative to theoretical component, based on a bibliographic search and where the question of adolescence, the EMAT and intervention in promotion and protection processes is deepened. The second part is dedicated to the empirical component, here we describe all the methology used in the study, namely the method, the objectives, the procedures, and as well as the discussion of the results. This study ends with a conclusion about the subject as well as a reflection on the vision of the role of the criminologist in this area.
