Abstract(s)

The most common symptoms in the student community, regardless of the degree of TMD, were joint noises and otalgias and most were considered tense or nervous. Conclusion: It was concluded that the TMD is present in the student community of the Fernando Pessoa University, as well as the parafunctional habits. The aim of this study is to help make the diagnosis of TMD early in younger populations, such as the one studied in this project and to alert to a physiotherapeutic intervention.
