A presente dissertação foca-se no corredor do Rio Leça e na sua relação com os limites na área urbana que o envolvem. O plano em curso para a revitalização do rio concentra-se essencialmente nas margens próximas e parece deixar um potencial de relação por desenvolver. Através da leitura unitária dos planos diretores municipais e de um conjunto de casos de estudo, assim como da análise e reinterpretação cartográfica, procuram-se princípios que possam ser referência para uma intervenção mais alargada. Termina-se com um exercício de exploração esquematizada desses princípios de desenho em segmentos da realidade.
This dissertation focuses on the Leça River Corridor and its relationship with the surrounding urban boundaries. The ongoing plan for the river's revitalization primarily targets the nearby banks, leaving a potential relationship yet to be developed. Through a comprehensive examination of municipal master plans and a set of case studies, as well as cartographic analysis and reinterpretation, this research seeks principles that could serve as a reference for a more extensive intervention. It concludes with an exploratory exercise, outlining these design principles in segments of the real environment.
