Abstract(s)

La poesía venezolana de los años noventa es considerada como uno de los períodos más productivos y de mayor calidad en la lírica nacional. Prueba de ello son, no sólo las opiniones de la crítica literaria del país y la poca extranjera, sino también los premios internacionales de poesía que han obtenido algunos de los poetas pertenecientes a dicho período, que avalan en cierta medida lo acá afirmado. En el presente trabajo se hace un corto recorrido por la obra publicada y reconocida con galardones otorgados en España, Costa Rica, Suecia y Venezuela de cinco jóvenes poetas: Luis Moreno Villamediana, Luis Enrique Belmonte, Arturo Gutiérrez Plaza,Alexis Romero y Alfredo Herrera Salas. The 1990s is considered one of the most prolific decades for Venezuelan poetry, with a production of great quality. Proof of this are not only the opinions of the country’s literary critics and the little criticism done outside it, but also the international poetry prizes that some of the poets pertaining to this period have won, which endorse to a certain extent what we affirm here. The present study makes a brief overview of the poetry published and recognized with awards in Spain, Costa Rica, Sweden and Venezuela of five young poets: Luis Moreno Villamediana, Luis Enrique Belmonte, Arturo Gutiérrez Plaza, Alexis Romero and Alfredo Herrera Salas.
