Abstract(s)
O presente projeto debruça-se sobre o fenómeno do Abuso Sexual Baseado em Imagens, mais usualmente conhecido e divulgado pela comunicação social e sociedade como “Pornografia de Vingança”. Apesar de pouco abordada, a prática deste fenómeno tem-se demonstrado cada vez mais recorrente e é algo que deveria começar a preocupar a sociedade. Homens e mulheres são afetados diariamente, contudo são as mulheres as vítimas mais frequentes e as que mais sofrem quando vêem as suas fotos e vídeos íntimos divulgados pelas redes sociais. Apesar de haver já uma maior preocupação em divulgar informação sobre este tema, esta prática continua a não ser prevista como um crime autónomo pela lei portuguesa. O presente trabalho propõe identificar e compreender os impactos que este fenómeno tem sobre as vítimas, assim como compreender até que ponto a expansão da internet e o seu uso frequente, principalmente pelos mais jovens, leva ao aumento deste crime.
This project focuses on the phenomenon of Image-Based Sexual Abuse, more commonly known and publicized by the media and society as "Revenge Pornography". Although little addressed, the practice of this phenomenon has proven to be increasingly recurrent and is something that should begin to concern society. Men and women are affected on a daily basis, but women are the most frequent victims and the ones who suffer the most when they see their intimate photos and videos posted on social networks. Although there is already a greater concern in disseminating information on this topic, this practice is still not foreseen as an autonomous crime by Portuguese law. This paper proposes to identify and understand the impacts that this phenomenon has on the victims, as well as to understand to what extent the expansion of the internet and its frequent use, especially by young people, leads to the increase of this crime.
