As dinâmicas familiares e todas as vivências adquiridas na infância tendem a influenciar o comportamento futuro de qualquer jovem. De forma mais específica, a literatura tem vindo a documentar que experienciar algum tipo de vítimação na infância, problemas registados ao nível do processo de vinculação, estão geralmente associados ao desenvolvimento de condutas antissociais, podendo assim mais tarde explicar a permanência destes mesmos comportamentos na sua vida adulta.
O objetivo principal do projeto de investigação passa por procurar compreender a relação existente entre a vítimação que sofrem na infância e o comportamento delinquente, isto é, compreender de que como a família e toda a sua envolvência poderá repercutir-se no comportamento dos jovens. Para tanto, recorrer-se-á a uma metodologia qualitativa, sendo efetuadas entrevistas a profissionais que tenham experiência de trabalho com jovens sinalizados em CPCJ por condutas delinquentes e/ou antissociais. É expectável que o envolvimento em comportamentos desviantes esteja sobretudo associado aos maus tratos sofridos na infância e a ausência de vínculo por parte da família. Espera-se que este trabalho possa contribuir para uma melhor compreensão da problemática e sobretudo sustentar e fundamentar o desenvolvimento de políticas de prevenção e intervenção do fenómeno da delinquência juvenil.
Family dynamics and all the experiences acquired in childhood tend to influence the future behavior of any young person. More specifically, the literature has documented that experiencing some kind of childhood victimization, problems at the level of the linking process, are generally associated with the development of antisocial, being able to later explain the permanence of these same behaviors in their adult life. The main objective of the research project is to understand the connection between the victimizaction in childhood and the deviant behavior, that is, understand how the family influences and all their full involvement may be reflected in the behavior of young people. Therefore, recourse shall be a qualitative methodology, and made interviews with professionals who have experience working with young people in CPCJ flagged for delinquent behavior and / or antisocial. It is expected that the involvement in deviant behavior is mainly associated with bad treatment suffered in childhood and also with lack of bond by family. With the realization of this investigation it is hopped to be able for one better compreension of the problem, understand the motivations of the young people and to allow the development of policies of prevention and intervention in the phenomenon of the juvenile delinquency.
