Abstract(s)
Introdução: A Paralisia Cerebral (PC) é um distúrbio neurológico não progressivo da infância, que resulta em danos no cérebro não maduro. Objetivo: Analisar os efeitos de diferentes intervenções de fisioterapia para a melhoria do controlo postural de crianças com paralisia cerebral espástica (PCE). Metodologia: Foi efetuada uma pesquisa bibliográfica nas bases de dados PubMed, PEDro, Web Of Science incluído, artigos randomizados controlados, com limite temporal de 7 anos, com indivíduos com idades iguais ou inferiores a 18 anos, com texto disponível na íntegra, em que fossem usadas técnicas de fisioterapia para o controlo postural no tratamento de crianças com PCE. Resultados: 2083 artigos foram encontrados, dos quais 6 foram incluídos na presente revisão. Conclusão: Foi possível concluir, segundo diferentes autores, que existem várias técnicas de intervenção que trazem melhoria para as crianças com PC.

Methodology: A literature search was conducted in PubMed, PEDro, Web Of Science databases, including randomized controlled articles, with a time limit of 7 years, with individuals aged 18 years or less, with full text available, in which physical therapy techniques were used for postural control in the treatment of children with SCP. Results: 2083 articles were found, which 6 were included in this review. Conclusion: It was possible to conclude, according to different authors, that there are several intervention techniques that bring improvement to children with CP.
