Abstract(s)
Objetivo: Verificar a efetividade do treino dos músculos do pavimento pélvico na qualidade de vida de mulheres com incontinência urinária de stress. Metodologia: Foi elaborada uma pesquisa computadorizada nas bases de dados Pubmed/ Medline, PEDro e B-on, com a finalidade de obter artigos compreendidos entre 2008 e 2018. Os artigos foram todos avaliados de acordo com a escala Critical Appraisal Skills Programme. Resultados: Neste estudo foram incluídos onze artigos, com um total de 446 participantes. Averiguou-se uma diminuição dos scores do King’s Health Questionnaire em todos os estudos, ou seja, um aumento da qualidade de vida após o tratamento de fisioterapia uroginecológica. Além disso, foi verificado uma diminuição da incontinência urinária assim como do uso de proteções diárias e um aumento da força muscular dos músculos do pavimento pélvico. Conclusão: O treino dos músculos do pavimento pélvico revela ser uma técnica de fisioterapia eficiente na melhoria da qualidade de vida e na diminuição da incontinência urinária das mulheres.

Conclusion: Pelvic floor muscle training proves to be an efficient physiotherapy technique in improving of the quality of life and decreasing urinary incontinence in women.
