Introduction: Low back pain is defined as pain and discomfort in the lumbosacral region, it is an extremely common symptom that affects all age groups and limits the performance of activities of daily living. Neural mobilization techniques are a form of manual therapy for the treatment of low back pain. Objective: to analyze the effect of neural mobilization in patients with low back pain, in randomized controlled clinical studies that have not been published since the last systematic review. Methodology: A computerized search was carried out in Pubmed, Web of Knowledge and PEDro databases and in the Science Direct search engine, to identify randomized controlled trials (RCT's). Results: Five randomized controlled trials were included. Neural mobilization has shown significant results in increasing range of motion and function compared to conventional therapy. Regarding pain reduction, both registered significant results. Conclusion: Neural mobilization only showed effectiveness for a period longer than 2 weeks, in function, increased range of motion and pain reduction but when applied only in one session there were no changes.
