| dc.description.abstract | Objetivo: Avaliar a eficácia da fisioterapia pélvica em mulheres com disfunções sexuais. Metedologia: pesquisa computadorizada realizada utilizando a combinação de palavras-chave: (“healthy women” OR “female”) AND (pelvic physiotherapy” OR “pelvic floor rehabilitation” OR “treatment pelvic floor”) AND (“sexual dysfunction” OR “sexual pain disorder”) para as bases dados PubMed e Web science. A estratégia de pesquisa foi adaptada para a base de dados PEDro onde se utilizou uma combinação de cada termo de pesquisa relacionada com a técnica (“women; pelvic physiotherapy; sexual dysfunction/ “women; pelvic rehabilitation; sexual dysfunction”/ women; treatment pelvic floor; sexual dysfunction”/ female; pelvic rehabilitation; sexual dysfunction ) com o termo relacionado á condição (“female sexual dysfunction”). A qualidade metodológica foi analisada através da escala de PEDro. Resultados: Nesta revisão foram incluídos 5 artigos que cumpriram os critérios de elegibilidade com um total de 317 participantes e com média aritmética de 5,6/10 na escala de PEDro. Conclusão: A fisioterapia pélvica tem grande influência no tratamento e na prevenção da disfunção sexual em mulheres, independemente da faixa etária, contribuindo para uma melhoria da qualidade de vida e das relações interpessoais. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of pelvic physiotherapy in women with sexual dysfunctions. Metedology: Computerized search performed using the combination of keywords: ("healthy women" OR "female") AND (pelvic physiotherapy" OR "pelvic floor rehabilitation" OR "treatment pelvic floor") AND ("sexual dysfunction" OR "sexual pain disorder") for the PubMed and Web science databases. The search strategy was adapted for the PEDro database where a combination of each technique-related search term ("women; pelvic physiotherapy; sexual dysfunction/"women; pelvic rehabilitation; sexual dysfunction"/ women; treatment pelvic floor; sexual dysfunction"/ female; pelvic rehabilitation; sexual dysfunction) with the condition-related term ("female sexual dysfunction") was used. The methodological quality was analysed using the PEDro scale. Results: This review included 5 articles that met the eligibility criteria with a total of 317 participants and with an arithmetic mean of 5,6/10 on the PEDro scale. Conclusion: Pelvic physiotherapy has a great influence on the treatment and prevention of sexual dysfunction in women, regardless of age, contributing to an improvement in quality of life and interpersonal relationships. | pt_PT |
