Abstract(s)
O presente relatório de estágio, que teve lugar no Conselho Português para Refugiados (CPR), mais especificamente no Centro de Acolhimento para Refugiados (CAR1), apresenta uma descrição de todo o trabalho realizado no âmbito do Estágio Curricular realizado na instituição referida.
Abordou-se o funcionamento do CAR, desde os serviços disponíveis, às atividades ocupacionais e culturais realizadas. São explorados os interesses dos próprios requerentes de proteção internacional e depois mencionadas as várias atividades dinamizadas pelas estagiárias e colaboradoras do centro, os objetivos inerentes e os resultados de cada atividade. As atividades realizadas no departamento de integração e emprego são mencionadas para que seja possível compreender o apoio fornecido pelo CPR na integração dos requerentes de asilo no mercado de trabalho português.
Para concluir, realizou-se uma reflexão sobre a forma como os centros de acolhimento estão distribuídos espacialmente em Portugal, as consequências dessa distribuição e de que forma esta situação poderia ser invertida, sem colocar em causa o bem-estar dos indivíduos afetados, através de uma comparação com outros casos europeus.
This internship report, which took place at the Portuguese Refugee Council (CPR), more specifically at the Refugee Reception Center (CAR1), presents a description of all the work carried out within the scope of the internship carried out at the institution. The CAR’s functioning will be discussed from the available services to the occupational and cultural activities carried out. The interests of the asylum seekers will be analyzed as well as the different activities accomplished by the interns and workers of the center and the inherent objectives and results of each activity. The activities carried out in the integration and employment department will be mentioned to understand the support provided by the CPR in the integration of asylum seekers into the Portuguese labor market. To conclude, the way centers are spatially distributed in Portugal will be reflected, as well as the consequences of this distribution and how this situation could be reversed, without threatening the well-being of the affected individuals, through a comparison with other European cases.
