Abstract(s)
O Tráfico Humano é uma grave violação dos Direitos Humanos, que ocorre a nível mundial e a sua incidência tem vindo a aumentar (Fonseca, 2018). Apesar de não ser um crime muito prevalente no nosso país é um fenómeno que tem tendência a crescer, sendo por isso necessário conhecê-lo melhor para que se possa criar um método de prevenção e intervenção (Fonseca, 2018).
A investigação apresentada pretende contribuir para a prevenção do Tráfico Humano, através do desenvolvimento de um perfil de ofensores que o pratiquem, tendo em conta que este é um crime que tem vindo a evoluir ao longo do tempo. Existem alguns estudos relativos aos ofensores deste tipo de crime, contudo ainda não foi delineado um perfil correspondente, dificultando assim a intervenção nesta área.
O perfil será delineado com base nas características sociodemográficas e nos traços de personalidade de reclusos condenados por este crime, em Portugal. Ao conhecer os traços de personalidade destes indivíduos será possível contribuir para a prevenção e intervenção.
Human Trafficking is a serious violation of Human Rights, which occurs world wide and its incidence has been increasing (Fonseca, 2018). Although it is not a very prevalente crime in our country, it is a phenomenon that tends to grow, so it is necessary to know it better so that a method of prevention and intervention can be created (Fonseca, 2018). The research presented aims to contribute to the prevention of Human Trafficking, through the development of a Profile of offenders who practice it, taking into account that this is a crime that has been evolving over time. There are some studies on offenders of this type of crime, but a corresponding Profile has not yet been utlined, thus making it difficult to intervene in this área. The profile will be outlined based on the sociodemographic characteristics and personality traits of prisoners convicted of this crime in Portugal. By knowing the personality traits of these individuals, it will be possible to contribute to prevention and intervention.
