dc.description.abstractO presente Projeto tem como objetivo potenciar a atuação dos Agentes da PolĂ­cia de Segurança PĂșblica neste particular, atravĂ©s da melhor formação, a fim de prevenir e punir os ofensores e defender as vĂ­timas. A ViolĂȘncia DomĂ©stica (VD) Ă© um grave problema que atinge a humanidade, independentemente do sexo, da situação econĂłmica e social, religiosa ou cultural. Esta Ă© uma problemĂĄtica social transversal a todas as classes sociais que Ă© uma prioridade combater e intervir de modo concertado e preventivo. Este Projeto de Graduação visa contribuir para conhecer/o fenĂłmeno da violĂȘncia domĂ©stica na RegiĂŁo AutĂłnoma da Madeira (RAM), a partir da realidade social da cidade do Funchal. Assim, apĂłs um breve enquadramento conceptual que aborda a definição e especificidades do crime de violĂȘncia domĂ©stica, reação das vĂ­timas, participação das forças policiais, Ă© apresentada uma proposta de investigação/intervenção orientada para responder Ă s necessidades especĂ­ficas da RegiĂŁo AutĂłnoma da Madeira, visando a criação do projeto de intervenção (GAIV). Estamos cientes que nĂŁo basta apurar a realidade da ViolĂȘncia DomĂ©stica na RegiĂŁo AutĂłnoma da Madeira (RAM), Ă© preciso encontrar soluçÔes que passam por mais formação e atuação.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this Project is to enhance the role of Public Security Police Agents in this area through better training in order to prevent and punish offenders and defend victims. Domestic Violence (DV) is a serious problem that affects humanity regardless of sex, economic and social, religious or cultural situation. This is a social problem that is transversal to all social classes and that is a priority to fight and intervene in a concerted and preventive manner. This Graduation Project aims to contribute to the understanding of the phenomenon of domestic violence in the Autonomous Region of Madeira (RAM), based on the social reality of the city of Funchal. Thus, after a brief conceptual framework that addresses the definition and specificities of the crime of domestic violence, reaction of the victims, participation of the police forces, a proposal of investigation / intervention is presented oriented to respond to the specific needs of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, aiming at the Creation of the intervention project (GAIV). We are aware that it is not enough to recognize the reality of Domestic Violence in the Autonomous Region of Madeira (RAM), it is necessary to find solutions that go through more training and action.pt_PT
