O projeto de graduação tem como foco na teleassistência enquanto instrumento no caso de crime de Violência Doméstica. Apesar da problemática da Violência Doméstica estar bastante presente atualmente e já abundantemente abordada na literatura científica em Criminologia, o facto é que a teleassistência é ainda em parte desconhecida, e também as suas implicâncias enquanto instrumento de atuação nos casos de Violência Doméstica. Contudo, esse conhecimento é essencial, em particular pelas questões éticas que lhe estão adjacentes, e um maior esclarecimento é necessário para suprir uma falta de conhecimento por parte dos profissionais, para uma melhor aplicação da mesma.
Numa primeira fase, este trabalho debruça-se sobre o enquadramento teórico da temática, por forma a servir de esclarecimento de diversos conceitos. Inclui, em particular, elementos estatísticos sobre o crime de Violência Doméstica em relação com a teleassistência.
Na fase seguinte, o projeto assenta em pressupostos metodológicos e instrumentos de campo, incluindo assim, para além de uma pesquisa documental, um questionário que serve como instrumento principal de pesquisa qualitativa.
Finalmente, é elaborada uma discussão dos resultados, onde estão expostos os aspetos determinantes a extrair da pesquisa.
This graduation project focuses on teleassistance as an instrument in the case of crime of domestic violence. Despite the fact that the problem of domestic violence is quite present and already abundantly addressed in the scientific literature in Criminology, the fact is that teleassistance is still in part unknown, and also its implications as an instrument of action in the cases of domestic violence. Yet, this knowledge is essential, in particular by the ethical issues surrounding it, and also to supply a lack of knowledge by some professionals, for a better application of it. In a first stage, this work deals with the theoretical framework of the topic, in order to clarify various concepts that are of relevance. This includes statistical elements on the crime of domestic violence in order to define a framework in relation to teleassistance. In the next stage, the project rely on a methodological assumptions and field instruments, including, in addition to a documentary research, a questionnaire that serves as a main instrument for qualitative research. Finally, a discussion of the results is drawn up, where the main determinants are exposed as to what will be extracted from the research.
