Abstract(s)
O tráfico de pessoas é uma das formas de criminalidade mais grave atualmente existente e o combate desta é, já há muito tempo, de grande relevância para a área de Criminologia. A criminalização, descriminalização e legalização da prostituição é algo debatido mundialmente e é importante analisar estas três vertentes bem como, fazer a ligação ao tráfico de pessoas. Este projeto é composto por duas partes: a parte teórica onde se explora temas como a caracterização do tráfico, prostituição e as três vertentes desta, o papel da globalização e respetivos enquadramentos históricos e jurídicos. A segunda parte irá consistir na análise de dados estatísticos, fazer a respetiva ligação e conclusão e também a enumeração de várias organizações no combate ao tráfico de pessoas e algumas, exclusivamente à exploração sexual.
Trafficking in persons is one of the most serious forms of crime currently existing and the fight against it has long been of great relevance to the area of Criminology. The criminalization, decriminalization and legalization of prostitution is something discussed worldwide and it is important to analyze these three aspects as well as to make the connection to trafficking in persons. This project is composed in two parts: the theoretical part where is the characterization of trafficking, prostitution and as three aspects of trafficking are explored, the role of globalization and its historical and legal frameworks. The second part will consist in the analysis of statistical data, making the connection and conclusion and also the enumeration of various organizations in the fight against trafficking in persons and some, exclusively to sexual exploitation.
