Como parte dos requisitos para a obtenção do grau de Licenciado do curso de Criminologia cabe-me apresentar o seguinte Projeto de Graduação à Faculdade de Ciências Humanas e Sociais da Universidade Fernando Pessoa, sob a orientação da Professora Doutora Ana Sacau.
O projeto intitulado de “11/09: Repercussões ao nível das liberdades cívicas e conceito de segurança nacional” encontra-se dividido em três grandes capítulos. Um primeiro acerca da Contextualização Teórica do terrorismo, um segundo sobre a Segurança Interna e os Direitos Humanos e, por fim, um terceiro no qual se procederá ao Estudo Empírico.
A escolha deste tema recai sobre o facto de o terrorismo ser um fenómeno bastante atual que causa efeitos negativos e drásticos a nível internacional.
As part of the procedure for obtaining the degree of Bachelor of Criminology it is my responsibility to present this Graduation Project to the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of Fernando Pessoa University, under the guidance of Professor Ana Sacau. The project entitled "9/11: Repercussions at the level of civil liberties and the concept of national security" is divided into three major chapters. A first one about the theoretical contexto of terrorism, a second one seeking to provide an approch on the issue of Internal Security and Human Rights and, finally, a third one in which the empirical study will be carried out. The choice of this theme relies on the fact that terrorism is a very current phenomenon in nowadays' world causing utterly devastating effects at an international level.
