Abstract(s)
A problemática dos maus-tratos é um alvo de diversos estudos devido à sua relevância e necessidade de intervenção na sociedade. No caso concreto de se tratarem de menores, torna-se, ainda mais, imprescindível a conceção de um Projeto de Graduação submetido a este tema.
Desta forma, são abordados assuntos concernentes ao seu contexto e tipologia, impacto deste ato nas crianças e alguns fatores explicativos, a fim de transmitir e aprofundar conhecimentos relativos ao assunto em causa.
Posteriormente, surge a parte empírica do Projeto subordinada à conceção de uma entrevista de cariz qualitativo.
O objetivo geral da investigação é compreender quais os motivos que estão na base dos numerosos casos de maus-tratos a crianças e jovens. Pretende-se alcançar uma maior difusão deste fenómeno, nomeadamente uma maior consciencialização por parte dos progenitores, cuidadores e familiares na prevenção de comportamentos excessivos.
The issue of mistreatment is a subject of several studies due to their relevance and need for intervention in society. In the case of whether they are minor, it becomes even more necessary to design a Graduation Project submitted to this theme. In this way, subjects are approach and related to their context and typology, impact of this act in children and some explanatory factors, in order to transmit and deepen knowledge on the subject in question. Later comes the empirical part of the project submited to the design of a qualitative nature interview. The overall objective of the research is to understand which reasons are the basis of the numerous cases of mistreatment of children and youth. It is intended to achieve a greater diffusion of this phenomenon, including increased awareness of the part of parents, caregivers and family members to prevent excessive behavior.
