| dc.description.abstract | A presente pesquisa de mestrado busca analisar quais as representações sobre a população LGBTQIAP+ [espectro que abarca pessoas dissidentes de gênero e sexualidade] circulam nos discursos do jornal de referência Folha de São Paulo. No que se refere à metodologia, aplicou-se técnicas oriundas da Análise Crítica do Discurso (ACD). Além disso, o autor utilizou-se da pesquisa bibliográfica para fazer uma revisão sistemática do que se produziu acerca do tema e dar suporte teórico à discussão, abordando sobre o movimento LGBTQIAP+, a cishetenormatividade, além da responsabilidade do jornalismo na construção social da realidade. O corpus da pesquisa é composto por textos jornalísticos do gênero informativo - 28 notícias, publicadas no primeiro semestre dos anos de 2001, 2011 e 2021. A partir dos objetivos elencados, da coleta, categorização e descrição, análise e interpretação dos recursos léxico-gramaticais e semânticos que são capazes de produzir representações, buscou-se investigar a construção dos sentidos gerada por meio delas. Como base, a investigação tem como pressupostos epistêmico-metodológicos os estudos críticos da linguística, com enfoque nos linguistas Norman Fairclough, Theo Van Leeuwen e Teun Van Dijk. Acredita-se que este estudo pode trazer um impacto ao propor uma reflexão sobre entender a importância do papel que esse veículo secular tem na produção de significados que influenciam na formação crítica do leitor e o modo como, em geral, a sociedade compreende o movimento LGBTQIAP+ e as suas demandas por mais igualdade, respeito e tolerância. Com fundamento nas reflexões e análise dos materiais, concluiu-se que as representações são variadas, mas predominantemente com traços de estereótipos e preconceitos, em especial nos dois primeiros períodos analisados, observando-se uma tendência a uma abordagem mais sensível e respeitosa no último período, embora ainda presentes as marcas discursivas que contribuem para inferiorizar e subrepresentar as pessoas dissidentes em gênero e sexualidade. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This master's research seeks to analyze the representations about the LGBTQIAP+ population [a spectrum that includes dissident people of gender and sexuality] circulating in the speeches of the reference newspaper Folha de São Paulo. With regard to methodology, techniques from Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) were applied. In addition, the author used bibliographical research to carry out a systematic review of what has been produced on the subject and to provide theoretical support for the discussion, addressing the LGBTQIAP+ movement, cishetenormativity, in addition to the responsibility of journalism in the social construction of reality. The research corpus is composed of journalistic texts of the informative genre – 28 news, published in the first half of the years 2001, 2011 and 2021. Based on the listed objectives, the collection, categorization and description, analysis and interpretation of the lexicogrammatical resources and semantics that are capable of producing representations, we sought to investigate the construction of the meanings generated through them. As a basis, the investigation has as epistemic-methodological requests the critical studies of the language, with an approach in the linguists Norman Fairclough, Theo Van Leeuwen and Teun Van Dijk. It is believed that this study can have an impact by proposing a reflection on understanding the importance of the role that this secular vehicle has in the production of meanings that affect the critical formation of the reader and the way in which, in general, society understands the LGBTQIAP+ movement and their demands for more equality, respect and tolerance. Based on the reflections and analysis of the materials, it was concluded that the representations are common, but predominantly with traces of stereotypes and prejudices, especially in the first two periods analyzed, observing a tendency towards a more sensitive and respectful approach in the last period , although still present as discursive marks that they created to inferiorize and underrepresent dissident people in gender and sexuality. | pt_PT |
