Em 1971 o poeta Edgard Braga publica pelas Edições Invenção em São paulo, um pequeno livro
chamado ALGO, titulo sintomático de um conjunto de imagens originais que claramente não se poderiam
enquadrar até nas mais avançadas categorias conhecidas de poesia visual, mas que eram obviamente
alguma coisa que despertava o interesse do sentido da vista. neste meu artigo apresento a idéia de
antegrafia segundo a teorização de Almada negreiros, no livro VER, considerando-a como interpretante
adequado das imagens prépoéticas do referido livro ALGO. juntam-se algumas dessas imagens originais.
In 1971 the poet Edgard Braga published a small book called ALGO [SOMETHING], a symptomatic title for a set of original images that clearly could not fit in even the most advanced known categories of visual poetry, but that obviously constituted something that aroused the interest of our sense of sight. In this article I present the idea of antegraphy according to the theory of Almada negreiros in his book VER [TO SEE], considering it as an adequate interpretant of the pre-poetic images of the book ALGO. Some of the original images are included.
