Abstract(s)
Nowadays healthcare has evolved, and less and less there is a need for an individual to spend too much time in a hospital receiving treatment. Unfortunately, there are many illnesses that prevent the individual from taking care of himself, in need of daily external help. Thus, some family member or specialist in the area needs to continue the work until then developed by the health team of a hospital or institution. But can the team, in addition to the tasks at the physical/functional level, also be able to accompany the patient in mental healing, in the preparation and reintegration into society, so that it has a better recovery? Will you be able to transmit, in the best way, all the necessary knowledge to your relatives or caregivers outside the hospitals and institutions? Although the length of stay of an individual within a health institution is decreasing, making his presence less expensive for the institution where the patient is, this does not always reflect an improvement and an approximation on the part of the nurse/first caregiver towards the individual and for their recovery and reintegration into society. The fact that the nurse is not always able to give all the care and education necessary to the informal caregiver, nor provide him with small useful information in order to be able to carry out his tasks towards the patient and give him the best care, outside an institution or without the direct intervention of specialists.
