Abstract(s)
Nos últimos 30 anos o número de partos em mulheres com mais de 35 anos tem aumentado significativamente devido a inúmeros fatores: objetivos educacionais e profissionais, aumento do número de divórcios, novas tenologias de reprodução assistida.
Atualmente, grande parte das mulheres optam por ter filhos após os 35 anos. Este período coincide com o declínio da fertilidade na mulher. A diminuição do potencial reprodutivo, reserva ovariana, é a consequência do envelhecimento natural dos ovários.
Por considerarmos o tema pertinente, desenvolveu-se o presente trabalho, cujos objetivos são: conhecer as razões do adiar da maternidade; perceber quais as angústias e receios de uma gravidez tardia, segundo a opinião das mulheres.
Trata-se, de um estudo de natureza exploratório – descritivo, transversal e quantitativo junto de 7 mulheres com idades entre os 35 aos 76 anos.
Foi utilizado para colheita de dados um questionário composto por perguntas abertas, fechadas e mistas, e aplicado em meio natural a mulheres que ainda não foram mães.
Com este trabalho queremos identificar as razões pelas quais as mulheres de hoje adiam a gravidez, tendo-se constatado o seguinte: estabilidade financeira, realização profissional, relacionamentos afetivos estáveis e crescimento cultural e intelectual.
Over the past 30 years the number of births in women with more than 35 years old has increased significantly due to several factors: educational objectives and professionals, increase in the number of divorces, new technologies of assisted reproduction. Currently, the majority of women choose to have children after 35 years old. This period coincides with the decline in fertility in women. The decrease in reproductive potential, ovarian reserve, is the result of the natural aging of the ovaries. By considering the pertinent theme, has developed this work, whose objectives are: to know the reasons for the postponement of motherhood; understand what the anxieties and fears of a late pregnancy, according to the opinion of women. It is a study of exploratory, descriptive, transversal and quantitative from 7 women with ages between 35 to 76 years old. Was used for data collection a questionnaire composed of questions open, closed and mixed, and applied in the natural environment the women that have not yet been mothers. With this work we want to identify the reasons for the women of today postpone pregnancy, having observed the following: financial stability, professional achievement, affective relationships stable growth and cultural and intellectual.
